Manager of the Workplace Mobility HUB at Walmart, Ashley has been racing or playing around on one kind of bike or another for 15+ years. One of her favorite places she’s ridden (besides our backyard) is Bellingham, WA. They have this stuff called “dirt”, it’s awesome. If she’s not riding you’ll probably find her at Oven & Tap.

I’ve been a WOZ ride leader since the very first flagship ride! I love being anywhere on my mountain bike. My favorite part of racing is challenging myself, meeting new people, and sharing a beer at the finish line.

Hi, I’m Kelsey! My family and I relocated here a year ago and are loving life in the land of Oz. My favorite type of riding is cross country – more miles equal more happiness! I’m a nurse and a proud mom to two little girl shredders. If I had to pick a single trail snack for the rest of my life, it would definitely be a beef stick.
Amy Wirsig

Amy embarked on a journey to NWA in 2020 for a weekend getaway with friends and stumbled upon the enchanting land of OZ. Her role as a Healthcare IT Project Manager transitioned to a remote setup, granting her the opportunity to move from Kansas City, MO, and nurture her growing passion for mountain biking by immersing herself in the vibrant NWA cycling community. Amy became a WOZ Ride Leader, joined the Trail Adoption Program (TAP), was the FAST 2023 Volunteer of the Year (along with her hubby) and most recently, FAST Merchandise Manager.
Amy has dabbled in MTB XC and Enduro racing; she is excited to join the WOZ Race Team to enhance her racing skills and confidence, aspiring to empower those who share the common apprehension of participating in race events.
Amy is also exploring the gravel scene this year through involvement in the Femmes Gravel 100 program. She has her sights set on racing in the Rule of 3 and Hazel Valley Rally.
When not on her bike, you’ll find Amy dancing, spending quality time with her husband and two pups, sipping on a brewski, and contemplating the timing of her next exhilarating ride.

I started mountain biking in 2020 and participated in my first enduro race in the spring of 2021. It was a “Taste Of” event that allowed me to dip my toe in and explore racing in a safe environment with friends who were also race curious. I love that we have so many options for all levels of competition in Northwest Arkansas! From that first event I was hooked. Since then I have competed in enduro, cross country and gravel races and have loved (almost) every minute of my time on the bike. My goals this season include exploring new race disciplines, spending more time with friends, breathing more fresh air, feeling more sunshine on my face and encouraging more ladies to do the same – all on two wheels. I’m stoked to be part of this amazing team of supportive women. Let’s ride together!

I was born and raised in NW Arkansas. I’m a social worker and have worked in a variety of settings for the past decade but most recently I work remotely as a case manager. I fell in love with mountain biking in 2022 and I enjoy cross country riding. I’m a newbie to racing. Yay! A fun fact about me is that I’m a certified yoga instructor.

I am Kerry or KB. Married to Ernest, and we have a cattle dog named Roux. Started riding bikes thanks to him after we moved to NWA from the East Coast. I prefer cross-country style riding and signing up for unique races. I am an Ice Hockey player and the wildest race I have ever done was a Red Bull Crashed Ice race at Fenway Park. Excited to race for WOZ this year and help get more women in races

Hi! I am a pediatric speech language pathologist, dedicated to helping children learn to communicate! Beyond my professional life, you’ll find me embracing the thrill of biking. The Back 40 loop in the fall and Karst trail on a hot summer day are my favorite go-to routes. I’ll also admit, The Rule of Three race has captured my heart. I am a proud dog mom of a mini golden doodle, a regular at most local coffee shops and a Miracle league baseball coach for children with disabilities. I love Northwest Arkansas and meeting new faces. Let’s ride!

Born and raised in Minnesota, Lindsay spent a majority of her life in Southern California, working at the Happiest Place on Earth. Always feeling more at home in the outdoors, Lindsay didn’t discover the joy of cycling until moving to NWA in 2021 when she joined a WOZ Fundamentals class and met some amazing women who loved to ride. Many miles later, she serves as a WOZ Ride Leader, Rapha Ride Leader, and hype girl for other women. When she’s not on the bike, Lindsay can be found working for Walmart, talking about bikes, and spending time with her family, who support all her endeavors.

I’m a wife, mother of 3 boys, and a personal trainer. I moved to NWA in 2019 and took my first fundamentals class through WOZ in 2020. When I’m not on my bike, I love baking yummy stuff, reading a good book, and spending time with friends and family.
I love the Women of OZ community. It has helped me progress my mountain bike skills faster than if I would have tried on my own. (Or with my husband 🤪) It has given me so many opportunities to stretch myself as a rider, a leader, and as a person. I’m so thankful for this organization and all the doors it has opened up for me. I’m looking forward to getting even more involved as my kiddos get older and I have more time!
